Salesforce Connector Version 2 – Guide: Setting Up

To install the Salesforce connector for the first time, please follow these steps:

In Salesforce:

1. Install the Engaging Networks Connector App and the NPSP Extension Package (if required)
2. Check mapping rules in the Control Panel

In Engaging Networks:

1. Authenticate with the Salesforce account
2. Setup Contact Mapping
3. Install NPSP Transaction Mappings – Integrators have full control of how data should be represented in Salesforce. Engaging Networks offers a set of transaction Mapping Rules, geared for NPSP ‘Classic’. However, this tool provides high flexibility to alter to match business requirements.
4. Consider business rules and involve key stakeholders. Complete the additional setup items
5. UAT
6. Enable Sync in production
